Host Stephen Colbert of “The Colbert Reports” lashed out at sunglasses wearing mannequin/rapper/voice of an entire generation/dude Kanye West on Tuesday after iTunes‘ top albums were released and Colbert’s “A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift Of All” placed number 16th, a good 15 places from Kanye West’s latest release. Above is the finger-pointing and hilarity that ensued on Colbert’s show.
Kanye West promptly responded with this, and I’m sure Colbert’s carnies will pick up on the hype and ask him on the show in the near future. To add a little cherry on the comical pie, Colbert is now number three on the Top Albums chart, while Kanye’s album dropped to number four. The voice of this generation this decade this year this week can’t even hold off Stephen Colbert? Someone might need to shoot up some ego soon.
thanks to Revochelle for the tip.
Kanye Responds To Stephen Colbert [Beats And Bombs]

For anyone to call themselves “the voice of a generation.” That is absolutely preposterous. It’s not prescient, it’s myopic. He looks like R. Kelly in sunglasses.
But the guy can dress. That’s relevant, right? Hello?
