Living in Prospect Heights can be difficult if you’re looking for organic foods or a movie theater. It’s also a location significantly difficult to travel to if you’re going to and from Fort Green or Williamsburg. However, P. Heights is home to Tom’s Diner, a place serving breakfast since 1936. Tom’s does numerous things right: coffee is robust, their eggs aren’t oily, their prices are fair and it’s the kind of New York quirky everyone dreams of experiencing. The joint also has a song written about it. I had no idea. This is Revaz contemplating whether he wants turkey bacon or turkey sausage. He didn’t order either. Instead, he told the waiter we’d have a “side of hamburger.”

I feel a void in my life as I’ve never been to Tom’s
It’s such a quirky place. The food is not the greatest, but it’s great diner food. Does that make sense? It has tons of character, lots of locals and is a place you should try the next time you’re in town.
