But on that part of Wilshire Boulevard, a transitional space if there ever was one, no one seems to do much celebrating of the open space if at all. All those luxury cars making their way between Beverly Hills and Westwood/Santa Monica seem to just buzz on by like frantic, high-speed mechanical termites, impervious to the world around them.
It’s nice going out on those rainy nights. It’s one of the few times LA feels quiet.
