April 14 2010 Chavez Ravine. Yesterday was the first time I’d been to a game since last year. I went with my family and they were excited. We sat near the right-field foul line, Andre Ethier territory, and indulged in the traditional first inning hot dog, garlic fry and large drink combo. Beach balls bounced around. The Dodgers – with an uninspiring 3-7 record – teetered between control of the game and self-destruction. The latter prevailed.
