Walking into No Longer Emtpy‘s newest transformation “Never Can Say Goodbye” – located in the defunct Tower Records space on the corner of 4th and Broadway in New York City – youthful memories of my time as a record store manager trampled my brain and I couldn’t do anything but smile at all the records, in-store photos, mock LP’s and bins. Jan 15, 2010 I’m a day late posting because a parasite of some kind decided to wage war on my body last night. After a 6:15pm nap turned into a two-hour slumber, I launched a preemptive strike by chugging a pint of Emergen-C to slow the assault. It worked seeing as I was out today meandering through New York City on one of the most beautiful Winter days I’ve ever spent on the East Coast. I then ate a pork belly sandwich and was completely restored.

Jan 14, 2010 The Putnam Avenue line starts at Jay Street/Burough Hall and runs into Bedstuy. I vaguely remember using it once when Anna was in town. It was pouring rain one evening and my wallet wasn’t fit for a cab. She wore her green dress that night, the one that fits her perfectly, but I can’t remember where we were going.
