April 4 2010 The streets were deserted. Homeless men and women pulling carts with blue tarps and recyclables were the only people out. They kept telling us. “Pull your cables in every night! I’m telling you. People will take them.” A week had passed without incident. No one had so much as even stolen a pen from us. The only flare ups were caused by high pollen counts in the air. April 2 2010 Today was an uneventful, stale, blank, and uninspired sort of day. I tried to make it work, but I couldn’t capture anything remotely interesting to me. I saw a man on the street carrying a giant gold cane near an open field, but I was behind the wheel and zooming.
