It’s my last day in Rochester, NY before heading back to the Fort Greene offices and I’m happy to report that I survived my first three weeks as a mobile facilitator without a disaster to report. In fact, I’m already eager to get started on our next trip: Colorado. I can’t express the immense satisfaction I receive from this job. Photo: Monroe Theater: Rochester, NY: Abandoned Is Hot.

Monroe Theater was built in 1927 and closed in 2008, but not before showcasing numerous big screen hits for the city of Rochester. The venue went from big screen to big wang in 1971 when it began showing pornographic films. That ended in 1995. The theater officially closed in 2008, but the marquee stands.

Rochester, NY: My Brain Is Mush: Happy 4th.

The first thing I’d like to transmit since my last post is this: it’s exhausting to go from completely and utterly unemployed to four days of intense, but magnificent, training and then traveling a few hundred miles to commence a new job. My time spent in New York City was short-lived since I shipped off to Rochester, NY immediately to start my new gig as Mobile Facilitator.
